Kids Volunteer Day

FCPS will be closed, but we're open for another Kids Volunteer Day. This is a fun and fulfilling way for kids, ages 6-12, to participate in volunteer work, meet non-profit leaders, play games, enjoy a pizza lunch, work in teams, and more.
Volunteer projects will include:- Making Valentine kits for distribution to local families
- Preparing gifts for INOVA hospital staff
- Making blankets and tote bags for an animal shelter.
We will also have guest speakers from Elianna's Light and INOVA Wellness.
Your child's health and safety are our priority, therefore the following protocols will be in place:
- Sitting four kids per 6’ table
- Hand sanitizer at every table
- Wiping down tables between projects
- Having kids bring their own markers/scissors/glue to avoid sharing
- Masks will be required
- Wearing gloves to serve lunch
- And, weather permitting, outdoor playtime.
